On September 18th, the Habitat Heroes group (Miles Beazley, Olivia Corrigan, Alex Langdon and Riley Bretherton-Smith) joined Doug Hutchinson  to plant lilies and swan plants from our shade house to the new picnic area and butterfly creek at Nowell's Lakes.

Hi All,

Please note on your calendars at home, and check here in the newsletter for dates of BBQs, there is one booked for Saturday 8th September at Bunnings Hawera, from 9.30 am to 3pm ish.  This is straight after camp, but I would really appreciate those parents who are not going on camp to make a concerted effort to make some time to come along and help me out on the day, it is easy work, either moving around sausages or serving people - or even keeping the bread supply stocked up.  We have just enough funds to cover the bus rental to Waitomo, but won’t have a lot left afterwards so the BBQs are a must to bring in some more funds.

The Prefects are keen to make fudge to package up and sell at the BBQs to go towards the Prefect Fund, so we want to support them in this venture too.

Please either message me or let school know that you will be turning up, and also spread the word to friends and Whanau that we are having a BBQ and to come and support our awesome school.

I really look forward to hearing back from you and hope to have a successful day.

Remember, “Many hands make light work

Thank you
